This is not a new graduate position. Applicants must have at least 2 years of med / surg, intermediate care, or ICU experience.

The Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (SICU and Neuro ICU) comprises 30 specialized intensive care beds dedicated to providing exceptional care for critically ill adults (14 and older). The unit typically sees a balanced patient population split between neuro cases and surgical patients.

Our focus of care includes patients facing major life-threatening conditions due to :

• Major elective and emergency surgical procedures
• Multi-trauma incidents
• Traumatic brain and spinal injuries
• Stroke and seizure management
• Sepsis and multi-organ system failure
• Hemodynamic instability and challenges with weaning off ventilation
