About The Position

Seeking Critical Care Physicians for   locum coverage at DCH Medical Center in  Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Program details :

• DCH is a 583-bed tertiary care center. We have an excellent rapport with subspecialists as well as the ICU nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and palliative care teams. We have dedicated critical care pharmacists in both ICUs.
• 2 day intensivists, 1 night intensivist, and APP (12-hour shifts)
• We have 2 medical ICUs, each of which has 16 beds (closed 32 BED ICU). Patients seen are bread-and-butter ICU patients.
• Multidisciplinary rounds occur in Medical ICU 1 at 9 am and in Medical ICU 2 at 10 : 30 am.
• 3rd and 4th-year medical students rotate with us in the ICU.
• A current AL license is required
• Local Candidates Preferred (no travel)
