House Nursing Assistant

The House Nursing Assistant (HNA) functions in a complimentary or assistive role to the Registered Professional Nurse. The House Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care and carries out individual duties on select patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with policies and procedures of the Berkshire Medical Center.

• POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience :

Patient care experience preferred.

• Education and Training :

High School diploma or equivalent with completion of a House Nursing Assistant

course and / or current status as a student in a Registered Nurse program.

• License, Certification & Registration :

MA NA REGISTRY - MA Certified Nurse Aide preferred.

• CPR
• Other Requirements :

Demonstrated ability to work well with people; excellent interpersonal skills and demonstration of Service Excellence Standards in performance of work role. Demonstrated dependability in maintaining a work schedule.
