Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that pts are able to utilize health care and social welfare resources in order to obtain optimal levels of care. This is accomplished through direct services to patient / families by collaboration with physicians and other hospital personnel.
Required Licensures / Certifications / Registrations
State of Texas Licensed Bachelor Social Worker(LBSW) required.
Physical Capabilities
Work is of medium demand; walking and standing most of the time while on duty. Hearing and near visual acuity.
Skills and Abilities
Interviewing / assessment skills. Telephone skills, excellent written and verbal skills required. Ability to work with others effectively.
