Media Relations Manager

Position Summary :

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Media Relations Manager will serve as the chapter marketing expert, developing and implementing all collateral, digital and paid and / or donated media needs across Central New York.

This position is part of a larger regional strategic communications team and a nationwide effort.

This position is grant-funded.

Responsibilities :

Essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Collaborate with the Executive Director, VP of Development and Sr. Program Director to develop, execute and evaluate community marketing communications initiatives that complement the Alzheimer’s Association national strategic plan.
• Promote strategic initiatives across marketing communications channels, including : Maintaining digital platforms to maximize brand awareness and ensure a positive user experience;Writing and editing content for weekly e-newsletter;Resizing of existing creative on provided design platforms;Leveraging and / or developing print and digital collateral as necessary to reach target audiences.
• Assure compliance with all Alzheimer’s Association branding policies, procedures, standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
