OVERVIEW : In our Business Intelligence Department, the Data Analyst is pivotal in shaping the understanding of the 20m+ pleasure yacht market. The Data Analyst will gather, manage, and analyze key data on yachts, customers, crew, and market trends. The insights gained will not only inform various company departments but also help identify and seize new business opportunities.
K EY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Enter, update, verify, and maintain external central agency yacht information on our database, including Yatco, emails, and monthly updates from BI, brokers, and assistants. This includes regular checks of designated brokerage companies to ensure all yachts are updated with full specifications, obtained through direct communication with companies.
- Ensure complete yacht specifications are always available, responding promptly to broker requests for specifications, photos, and brochures.
- Monitor listing emails on a rotational basis, taking timely action and delegating tasks as needed. Obtain high-resolution photos and specifications for non-Group yachts, editing photos for correct sizing and gathering comprehensive information, working closely with shipyards.
- Produce various reports for brokers across all business units, including market trends, customer behavior, and company positioning analysis. This involves extensive market research, analyzing marketing metrics, and evaluating market penetration.
- Manage Industry distribution lists in CRM for mailings, load documents on Accounts or yacht docs, and publish articles about yachts.
- Provide comprehensive database support, assisting brokers and assistants, and escalating technical issues to IT when necessary.
- Contribute to yacht shows by preparing yacht show lists and specs, attending shows for information gathering or working as a hostess, or alternatively covering office duties during shows.
- Analyze CRM / IQ usage among brokers, providing regular reports on lead responses and market adoption, and suggesting improvements or additional training where needed.
- Stay proficient with advanced statistical analysis and research methodologies, ensuring regular team meetings to review work progress, report on new projects, and discuss new features for Business Unit efficiency.
- Create, test, and implement new IQ functionalities, ensuring the timely rollout of features.
