Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications. Proficiency with computer systems, CAD, and manual calculations. Strong communication skills to discuss technical questions with engineers. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of producing clear, concise, and complete documentation. Design Engineer / Draftsperson
Department : Engineering
We’re looking for a skilled Design Engineer / Draftsperson to join our Engineering team. In this role, you’ll review and analyze contract documents to create engineering drawings that support customer approval and manufacturing processes. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical knowledge and attention to detail.
What you’ll do :
- Review proposals, purchase orders, and specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Prepare engineering drawings and Bills of Materials for manufacturing and customer approval.
- Perform calculations to determine equipment sizes, deflections, and drive information.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Production teams to resolve technical questions and clarify requirements.
- Occasionally review drawings prepared by others or assist on special projects as needed.
