job purpose :
The Dairy Welfare Lead is responsible for implementing the vision, mission, and strategy of fairlife's animal welfare programs in partnership with dairy farms supplying our southwest regions. We are looking for a candidate who has dairy experience and a understanding of cattle welfare. Animal Science or equivalent preferred with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively translate animal welfare principles into practical, on-farm actions and improvements. In addition, this role would work cross-functionally with our dairy sustainability, milk procurement and communications teams.
responsibilities :
Lead and implement fairlife's animal welfare initiatives and programs in the Southwest region (AZ).
Collaborate with co-ops, farm owners / managers, veterinarians, and other stakeholders to implement fairlife's animal welfare program.
Stay current with industry developments and emerging best practices, as well as local and national regulations related to dairy cattle welfare.

Base pay range : 75,000—$115,000 USD
