Position Details
Librarian III is a working supervisor overseeing a major division or region of the library, including supervision of employees performing diverse tasks.
Librarian IV is a working supervisor and manager overseeing the operation of the Main Library or system-wide services, including supervision of employees performing diverse tasks.

The library system includes branch libraries in seventeen communities, with the Main Library in Visalia, and is part of the San Joaquin Valley Library System (SJVLS), a cooperative network of ten public library jurisdictions across six counties in California's Central Valley.

Minimum Qualifications
MLIS or equivalent from an American Library Association-accredited program is required, along with the following experience :
