Job Title : Pre-Kindergarten Aide

Reports to : Campus Principal

Pay Grade : Aide Pay 1

Dept. / School : Assigned Campus

Days : 187

Supervises : PK Children

Primary Purpose : To assist the PK teacher in carrying out classroom responsibilities by supervising students and assisting with instruction.

Qualifications :

Education / Certification :

• Ability to meet the No Child Left Behind requirements
• Some experience working with children
• Associate's Degree, 48 semester hours, or Academic Assessment; High School Diploma or GED

Major Responsibilities and Duties :

1. To assist the teacher in carrying out the prescribed program for each student.

13. Able to accept the teacher as authority of the classroom, realizing that as the teacher exercises authority,
