Medical Coding Supervisor

A company is looking for a Medical Coding Supervisor (Physician and Hospital Coding).

Key Responsibilities

Supervise a team of medical coders for physician and hospital coding

Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and optimize coding processes

Assist in training, onboarding, and conducting audits for coding staff

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Current nationally recognized coding certification in good standing

Minimum of 3 years of medical coding experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Proficiency in coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
