The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for development of CMP processes as well as product introduction and implementation of CMP products at customer sites. The engineer performs formulation optimizations for developing new CMP chemistries. The primary job role is to develop total CMP processes and use all metrology tools at our Mesa AZ this role the engineer will also run product demonstrations for our customers.

Key responsibilities for this role include :

• Develop support and improve CMP processes for new & existing products.
• Act as a CMP process expert in supporting R&D chemists.
• Investigate chemistry and abrasive interactions with different dielectric and metal films.
• Fine-tune chemistry to get desired defects and metrology performance for CMP.
• Support product life cycle including product characterization and functional testing.
• Interface with internal and external technical teams.
• Run product demonstrations for customers in FFEMs applications lab.
• Provide on-site customer support both domestic and international.
• Design analyze and summarize data using statistical software.
• Collaborate with technical staff on process / formulation needs with respect to CMP chemistries.
• Apply fundamental chemistry knowledge.
• Participates in new product development and commercialization.
• Ability to work extensively in lab environment & direct technicians to support project needs in an efficient manner.
• Must be able to communicate and work well with other professionals in a team environment.
• Job requires standing and working in the lab for a substantial part of every day.
