Job descriptionOversee IT operations to ensure strong security protocols are in place. Lead incident response for cybersecurity events. Conduct vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation across systems and applications. Evaluate and manage third-party vendors and cloud providers for security compliance. Develop and enforce security policies and awareness programs. Provide leadership to a small security team and influence across the broader IT group. Report key security metrics and risks to senior leadership. 58 years in IT security with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. Strong knowledge of security operations, risk management, vulnerability assessment, and threat intelligence. Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS / IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven ability to conduct vulnerability management and vendor / third-party risk assessments. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC. Masters in Cybersecurity. Strong communication skillsable to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Track record of developing and implementing security programs.
