Pay Information $2,250 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Orthopedics Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 1 year required License : Valid state license required Certifications : BLS certification required Must-Have : - Experience with Med / Surg - Use of Rapid Response / Code teams - Peripheral Line Care / Management - Non-invasive airway management Description : The unit has a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1 : 5. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Weekend shifts required every other week. Travelers may need to float between like units. Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager's discretion. Local candidates are accepted. Requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years is required. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. All providers must have a means of communication provided for the assignment. Housing options may be limited in the area.
