Job Details :

• Work either 4 ten-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM) or 3 twelve-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM)
• 1-2 call shifts per week Monday through Thursday, starting after your shift until 7 : 00 AM the next morning
• 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks starting at end of shift Friday until 7 : 00 AM Monday
• No scheduled weekend shifts (call only)
• Holiday coverage on call basis per department need
• 30-minute callback response time required
• Must work 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays with no time off approved around Christmas and New Years
• Neurosurgery, trauma, orthopedic, and robotics experience required
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC experience heavily preferred
• Pennsylvania nursing license required with no license hits accepted
• Must function independently in neurosurgery procedures
• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 1 : 1 patient ratio
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility

Facility :

This comprehensive healthcare facility operates an 18-room operating department within a 593-bed hospital system. The facility specializes in neurosurgery, trauma, orthopedic, and robotic procedures with a daily census of 50-60 cases. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
