Security Researcher

A company is looking for a Security Researcher to enhance customer protection through Microsoft Defender for Office. Key Responsibilities Respond to escalations to resolve detection effectiveness issues Prototype automated detection solutions and conduct deep analysis on attacker campaigns Engage with diverse teams to drive customer experience and ensure holistic protection Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, cybersecurity, or anomaly detection Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field 3+ years programming experience with Python, including machine learning model development Willingness to cover a periodic on-call rotation Experience querying and analyzing large datasets for detection and monitoring purposes
