Job descriptionDocuments Required : Social Security Card / Birth Certificate Required Skills : Ability to operate laser / pipe level Ability to understand slope Ability to set boxes Ability to set mason boxes Detailed knowledge of construction and pipe fitting techniques. Knowledge of sewer systems storm drains and water mains. Experience with machine-operated trenching tools Duties / Responsibilities : Laying sections of pipe & completing connections between pipe sections Completing welds on sections of metal pipe where metal piping is specified Making connections to lines including sewer lines water lines & storm sewers. Ability to coordinate with pipe crews while working inside trench or trench boxes. Laypipefor storm or sanitation sewers drains and water mains. Lay out pipe routes following written instructions or blueprints and coordinating layouts with supervisors. Dig trenches to desired or required depths by hand or using trenching tools. Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing Install or repair sanitary or storm water sewer structures or pipe systems Locate existing pipes needing repair or replacement using magnetic or radio indicators. Grouting experience is a plus Experience with checking grade Perform any combination of the following tasks : grade trenches or culverts position pipe or seal joints. Install or use instruments such as lasers grade rods or transit levels. Coordinate with operators to ensure PVC or RCP is properly connected and set to grade. Understand safety precautions associated with working in trenches and trench boxes. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environment Meet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standards Report safety hazards quality and production issues to management immediately Physical Requirements : Must have good endurance Will be required to bend stoop squat crouch kneel and crawl to perform task Ability to work in varying hot and cold environments Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions Ability to work in an environments with exposures to dust dirt and various other debris metal and paint fumes gases While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to high precarious places and outside weather conditions The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock Must be able to pass drug screen. Must have reliable transportation (Will be required to travel up to a 60 mile radius) Pay : Weekly Pay Pay Schedule : Monday - Sunday Schedule : Duration of Job : Temp to Hire (Based on Job Performance)

- Job Scope :
Responsible for assembling connecting and constructingpipesystems for storm or sanitation sewers drains and water mains. Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out forpipes. Alignspipesand seals joints together with cement or glue.
Drivers License / Identification
MUST have CONSTRUCTION background (1 Year Minimum)
Digging / Grading trenches to lay pipe in
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
Starting Pay : $16.00 - $19.00 (Based on experience)
Monday - Friday (Weekends as Needed)
8 - 12 Hour Days (With Weather Permitting)
