Job Description

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This position ensures continuity of care by providing direct care, administering medications, and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and support staff. The LVN must be willing to cross-train in other nursing departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Supervise and support CNAs and nursing staff.
• Ensure continuity of care for all residents.
• Participate in training and cross-training within other nursing departments as required.
