Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist! Serving more than 50,000 patients each year, this hospital is a vital part of the communities in North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke and surrounding areas
Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a monthWill consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts / month (still benefit eligible)Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possibleHandle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalistsManage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseloadOversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB / GYN triage visits annuallyConduct 1,229 OBED consults each yearCollaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU settingWork with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnanciesPerform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient careProvide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverageCover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergenciesAssist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sectionsRespond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unitThe hospital has consistently earned the Stage 7 Award from Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Analytics for advances in health information technology, offering patients the latest in interactive and digital equipment.
