Job Duties
Responsibilities include managing assigned inventory and equipment, coordinating material flow, verifying shipment accuracy, reviewing production schedules, requisitioning parts, monitoring parts movement, completing documentation, managing material inventory, processing supply requests, and assisting maintenance technicians.
Qualifications
Required skills include hands-on material coordinator experience, knowledge of supply systems, proficiency in English, understanding of flight line operations, successful job training completion, computer knowledge, proficiency in automated maintenance management systems, knowledge of tools, ability to work various shifts, knowledge of safety directives, professional customer interaction, on-the-job training, handling hazardous materials, knowledge of hazardous waste procedures, and high school degree or equivalent. Preferred completion of a military supply technician technical school.
Physical Requirements / Working Environment
This classification involves physical activities such as climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, crouching, kneeling, twisting, stretching, walking, and motor vehicle operation in a hanger / flight line-like environment. It may require working in various weather conditions, high noise, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards, and wearing protective equipment.
