Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,758 per week in Bridgeport, CT

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : OR General Surgery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : AM Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : Minimum of 3 years License : Active RN license Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - Level 1 trauma center experience - Experience in General Surgery, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT, Neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), GYN - Specialization in orthopedic procedures, including total knee replacements and total hip replacements (both anterior and posterior approach) Description : Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is required. The position involves a variety of cases seen in the OR, including trauma, orthopedic, spine, and neuro surgeries. Preferred qualifications include previous travel experience and familiarity with EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS. Shifts consist of 40 hours per week, primarily from 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM. There may be a 30% requirement for 1 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM shifts based on departmental needs. Occasional weekend work may be necessary. On-call requirements include 6 weekdays and 6 weekend calls within a 6-week work schedule.
