About The Position

Solid Tumor Oncologist - Physician Job in Boston, MA

Locum Tenens - Solid Tumor Oncologist - Physician

Join our dynamic academic hematology and oncology practice in Boston, MA as a Locum Tenens Solid Tumor Oncologist. This is a 6-month position with potential for extension, focusing on GI oncology and other solid tumor cancer types. Work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary healthcare environment with no call or weekend requirements.

Job Details

Location : Boston, Massachusetts
Start Date : November 2, 2025
End Date : May 2, 2026
Shift : 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
Hours per Week : 40 hours

Job Requirements

2+ years of relevant experience, post-fellowship

MD, MD PhD, or DO degree

Board Eligible / Board Certified in Medical Oncology

BLS certification

Licensed or eligible for a medical license in Massachusetts

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive oncology care for adult patients

Manage solid tumor oncology patients

Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and direct new and ongoing oncolytic treatment plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Utilize EPIC software for patient documentation

Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction

Adhere to clinic policies and procedures

Participate in required meetings or training sessions

Stay current with advancements in oncology

Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
