Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive inpatient care for patients under the supervision of attending physicians

Perform daily rounds, patient assessments, and care plan updates

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and treatments

Manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice

Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care

Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR

Serve as a clinical resource and patient advocate

Qualifications :

Current Nurse Practitioner license (APRN) with prescriptive authority State of VA

Certification as an Acute Care NP, Adult-Gerontology NP, or Family NP (with inpatient experience)

Minimum [2+] years of clinical experience, preferably in hospitalist, acute care, or LTAC settings

Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage medically complex patients

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
