Country - Salem, Oregon Position Information The Salem, Oregon
Veterans Administration Community Based Outpatient Clinic is
seeking a full-time B oard-Certified / Board Eligible Family Practice
or Internal Medicine physician for its out-patient clinic in Salem,
Oregon for our Primary Care Clinical Practice Manager . Although
Salem is remote to the Portland VA, there exists multiple ties to
the main facility. The Portland VA has a Community Based
Out-Patient Clinic in Salem with a 26,000 square foot clinic,
multiple primary care providers, and sub-specialty support.
Veterans can receive consultations via electronic consults or
Tele-health and may receive sub-specialty care through
co-management with the private sector or via appointments at the
Portland VA. The Clinic Practice Manager will provide management
and leadership of interdisciplinary patient care services within
the Primary Care setting, this position is 60%
administration / management and 40% clinical (direct patient care).
The Clinic Practice Manager will be responsible with the Nurse
Operations Manager for the daily operations of the assigned
practice group. Candidates must be board certified in Family
Practice or Internal Medicine and have demonstrated leadership and
have administrative capabilities. We are seeking a Clinical
Practice Manager with a strong clinical, administrative skills who
will provide oversight of day-to-day operations, be clinically
active, have excellent communication skills. Academic experience a
plus, and opportunities for education and collaboration with our
academic partner is possible. The ideal candidate must be strongly
motivated to promote continuing education for staff,
inter-professional training, and be committed to professional

commensurate with experience. Work Schedule : Full-time,
Monday-Friday, (minimal call for abnormal labs). Citizen Current,
