Travel Nurse Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2560–$2750

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : January 5, 2026 – End : April 6, 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room, Level II Trauma Center

Shifts : 10-hour days (start at 07 : 00), with some 12-hour blocks; call required one day per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week : 40

On-Call : One weeknight every other week; one or two weekends every 6 weeks; 30-minute response time

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan or compact state

BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Clinical experience in General, Urology, GYN, Neuro, Ortho (total joints, sports medicine, trauma, podiatry), basic ENT, basic vascular, and robotic procedures

Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting

Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring safety and quality throughout all surgical procedures

Assist with a wide range of surgeries, including trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and more

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EHR

Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency surgical cases

Care for a diverse patient population, including adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatric cases
