In this role, the practitioner will assist in the management and implementation of the health care plan for Cardiac Surgical Service as defined by surgical attending staff. This role is primarily a night shift position with occasional day shift responsibilities.

Responsible for inpatient care related to pre and postoperative heart surgery patients in the CCU and Telemetry unit as defined by surgical attending.

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic bedside procedures
• Assure clear and concise transfer of clinical information between nurses, clinical staff and physicians
• Maintaining communication with other clinical service
