Reinsurance Senior Director
American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is looking for a Reinsurance Senior Director to join our growing team. As a Reinsurance Senior Director, you will be responsible for the oversight of the companys reinsurance function, including the recurring reporting cycle, managing of trust and investment accounts, managing and implementing complex reinsurance and profit participation structures, and ensuring all collateral requirements are met within the portfolio. This position will also be leading the companys growth objectives in reinsurance and other profit participation structures, leading system redesign and implementation, process improvement projects, and overseeing a staff of five individuals. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Managing and reviewing the companys large and complex portfolio, including the cyclical reporting for all reinsurance companies and profit participation arrangements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and supporting collection and cash application initiatives.
- Ensuring timely settlement of funds, adhering to the companys policies and procedures as well as contractual obligations.
- Providing detailed information on client-specific accounting and claims activities to support sales opportunities and reinsurance negotiations.
- Partnering with leader of finance and leading companys growth trajectory in reinsurance and other profit participation programs.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other professionals to act as a liaison, resolve issues, review practices / procedures, and facilitate effective communication.
- Supporting and mentoring team, leading or participating in internal and external training sessions, and contributing to the development of operational processes and technology solutions.
- Utilizing KPI and system tools to manage receivables, funding, reporting, and transactional processes efficiently, ensuring compliance and service excellence.
- Participating actively in team and department meetings, sharing knowledge, contributing to process improvements, identifying control issues / gaps, and fostering strong working relationships.

Requirements :
7+ years of professional experience in insurance, reinsurance, or risk management required5+ years of management experience requiredBachelors degree in relevant field with a completed CPA preferredIndustry experience in warranty and / or automotive preferredProven ability to work effectively in high-performance teams, managing workload and priorities to meet client and stakeholder expectationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear messages and explain complex subject matterStrong attention to detail and proficiency in mathematicsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Benefits :
