Senior Financial Analyst
As a Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for overall financial and operational support. The support includes budgeting, forecasting, month-over-month variance driver analytics as well as analytics pertaining to : expense, productivity metrics, volume reporting, and financial package compilation
What You Will Do
- Lead the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the Originations Division of Mortgage Connect by partnering with Sales, Operations, and all other stakeholders.
- Prepare management reports against forecast, budget, and prior year by providing root cause variance explanations and highlighting opportunities and risks on monthly financials results and key performance measures.
- Build, maintain, and improve dynamic financial models supporting the Originations Division business initiatives and strategic planning
- Partner with business leaders to translate strategic plans into financial forecasts and identify risks / opportunities
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages to all levels of management within the organization
- Partner with accounting in the month-end closing process to reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and ensuring financial statements are accurate and compliant with accounting standards
- Drive automation and scalability of financial processes and reporting tools
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports as needed
- All other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
