• Coordinates M&A activity across all lines of business. Responsibilities include target and market research, due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, agreement negotiation, development of BCBSSC management review materials, and deal closing.
• With the AVP, manages strategic investment and M&A opportunity project flow.
• Assists with the integration of acquisitions into our corporate structure.
• Coordinates with BCBSSC management personnel across various lines of business to perform special projects as requested of the AVP.
• Responsible for Foundation and Alpine financial reporting and audited statements.
• Manages special projects team within Corporate Finance to support both finance and accounting functions.
• Prepares goodwill impairment analysis for acquired entities.
• Required Education : Bachelors in a job-related field.
• Required Work Experience : 10+ years of progressively responsible financial or other job-related experience in the health insurance / health benefit industry, or comparably complex environment including 3 years of supervisory / management experience OR 3 years of equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.
