Job Title : Ophthalmic Technician __

Employment Type : Part-Time / Full-Time
Key Responsibilities : - Assist ophthalmologists in the examination and treatment of patients, including conducting diagnostic tests and procedures.- Take patient histories and document medical information accurately and efficiently.- Administer vision tests and measure visual acuity, color vision, and visual fields.- Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and instruments are ready for use.- Educate patients on eye care and treatment plans as directed by the ophthalmologist.- Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment to ensure proper functionality.- Handle patient scheduling and coordinate follow-up appointments as needed.- Comply with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
Qualifications : - Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician or a related field is preferred.- Previous experience in an ophthalmic or clinical setting is highly desirable.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.- Proficient in using ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.- Fluent in English and Spanish.
