Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a SC or Compact RN license and flexibility across multiple surgical service lines.

Job Details

  • Work in the Operating Room within a hospital setting,
  • Responsibilities may include covering general, neuro, orthopedic, and robotics cases,
  • Shifts are scheduled from 06 : 30 to 17 : 00,
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks,
  • Call participation is required as scheduled,

Job Requirements

  • Active SC or Compact RN license is required,
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience,
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required,
  • Proficiency with computer programs used in patient care is expected,

    • Additional Information

  • Role involves prepping the operating room and assisting with patient positioning and preparation,
  • Will serve as a communication liaison with both families and the surgical team,
  • Expected to ensure efficient department operations and proper documentation of care,
  • Must be willing to work in various service lines according to department needs,
  • Demonstrates ongoing professional growth through goal-setting and training participation,
  • Use of appropriate health and safety equipment is required for all assignments,
  • Responsible for controlling and maintaining supplies and equipment,
  • Scrub or circulating duties may be assigned as needed,
