Radiology Technologist Job Details

Position Type : Travel Radiology Technologist Contract

Location : Plains Township, PA 18702 (Northeastern Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

Setting : General Radiology Unit

Start Date : December 22, 2025

End Date : March 24, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00am – 7 : 30pm), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,930–$2,080 per week

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Rad Tech

Valid General Radiographer certification (ARRT preferred)

Proficiency in one or more specialties : Vascular, MRI, CT, Dexa, or Diagnostic Radiology

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Strong communication and organizational skills

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established healthcare protocols

Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care

Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control standards in the radiology department
