Job descriptionMinimum of four (4) years of experience as a forklift, MHE, or heavy equipment mechanic in commercial or government settings. Strong knowledge of electric, diesel, propane, and gasoline engine systems. Skilled in diagnosing electrical and computer-controlled systems. Must provide personal hand tools appropriate to the trade. Valid state drivers license with acceptable record. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work effectively in a team environment. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet physical and security requirements. Experience maintaining and repairing aerial boom and scissor lifts.

Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join our team in Silverdale, WA. The Forklift Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including forklifts, pallet jacks, aerial boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks (2,00070,000 lb. capacity), and other MHE.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment to OEM specifications and Navy standards.
- Inspect and repair electric, diesel, propane, or gasoline-powered MHE and related systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair drive trains, hydraulic systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
- Research and identify replacement parts for order.
- Maintain tools, documentation, and adherence to all safety and operational procedures.
