Join our team as a vital RN Case Management and Training Specialist! In this essential role, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of our newly hired RN Case Managers, Case Manager Social Workers, and the entire Case Management / Clinical Operations staff. You will be responsible for the onboarding and ongoing training of our exceptional team using a standardized curriculum that aligns with state and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with Case Management Leadership, you will develop and maintain training materials for the Case Management / Clinical Operations department. Training will be delivered both in person and virtually, impacting operations across the organization.
As a Trainer, you will leverage performance data to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement, reporting findings to clinical leaders and the Quality Improvement Committee (QIC). Staying current with NCQA, compliance standards, healthcare trends, and regulations is crucial. You will also assist with audits of staff documentation and adherence to established processes and policies.

- Assess staff knowledge and skill gaps, delivering constructive feedback to clinical leaders.
- Utilize and share reports on training activities, participant feedback, and performance improvement strategies with clinical leaders.
- Ensure compliance with mandatory and annual training requirements among staff.
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive repository for training materials and schedules.
- Keep up-to-date on NCQA, contract requirements, healthcare trends, and compliance standards.
- Assist in audits of staff documentation to verify compliance with departmental policies.
- Demonstrate proficiency with all MedStar Family Choice clinical operation software systems.
- Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of software systems for increased efficiency and productivity.
- Engage actively in departmental and committee meetings.

BSN from an accredited School of Nursing required.1-2 years of Case Management and utilization review experience required; 1-2 years of training experience required; 3-4 years of diverse clinical experience required.Active Maryland RN License and District of Columbia RN License required.This position offers a competitive hiring range of USD $87,318.00 - USD $157,289.00 annually.
