About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its community-focused health organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the strategic vision, operational excellence, and organizational growth in alignment with the mission to provide accessible, high-quality, and equitable healthcare services. This pivotal role involves ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and strong community engagement. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team to execute the strategic plan, oversee all functions, and build a high-performing leadership team. Key responsibilities also include financial management, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and leading initiatives in quality improvement and value-based care transformation. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of five years' senior management experience in healthcare administration is required, with a strong preference for those with experience in FQHCs, Rural Health Centers, Critical Access Hospitals, or Indian Health Services. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in financial stewardship, strategic planning, and operational leadership, as well as experience in unionized environments and managing collective bargaining agreements. Familiarity with grants management, fundraising, and community relations is essential, and understanding of ACO structures, VBC models, and PCMH standards is preferred. The CEO should possess key competencies in visionary leadership, strong communication, strategic thinking, and a commitment to health equity and inclusion. Professional certification such as FACHE or MHA is a plus.
