Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care for residents of all ages in a long-term care setting. Working under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician, you will :

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills in nursing principles tailored to meet the unique physical and psychosocial needs of each resident.
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and deliver treatments as prescribed.
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care accurately.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Provide counseling to residents and families on treatment plans and preventive measures.
• Participate in developing self-care programs using resident education principles.
