A locum tenens opportunity is available for a Radiologist specializing in high-volume ED readings across multiple hospitals in North Carolina, with a focus on stroke and perfusion imaging. This role includes working remotely and in a hospital setting, providing tele-radiology services. The position offers a flexible schedule with night shifts, accommodating weekend coverage. Specialize in reading modalities including XR, CT (excluding CT Cardiac), MR, US, and NM. Manage a daily volume of 90-100 exams per shift. Maintain accuracy and efficiency in reporting while ensuring high-quality patient care. Qualifications Valid North Carolina medical license DEA certification Board Certified in Radiology Clean background Must indicate shift preference Working Hours Night shifts, including availability for weekend coverage Skills Expertise in emergency radiology with the ability to cover stroke / perfusion cases. Proficient in using tele-radiology systems and familiarity with MERGE platform. Strong analytical skills to handle high patient volume. Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams across different hospitals.
