Position Highlights
Future Development - Long Term Care Center :
The Department of Veterans Affairs is currently building a Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders Long‑Term Care Center at the Dallas Campus of the VA North Texas Health Care System. This multi‑year project includes construction of a new 30‑bed SCI / D Long Term Care Center with space for an additional 30 beds for future growth and will be the first center of its kind in the region. The new SCI / D Long Term Care Center will empower and enable Veterans with SCI / D to enjoy comprehensive primary, sustaining and specialty care in a community atmosphere.
Location : Dallas, TX – A thriving metro with world‑class amenities, dining, and cultureSchedule : Monday–Friday (flexible hours) + on‑call responsibilitiesPractice Setting : Inpatient & outpatient SCI / D care, interdisciplinary collaborationKey Responsibilities
Provide diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for Veterans with SCI / DPerform procedures (joint injections, wound care, osteopathic manipulation, etc.)Lead an interdisciplinary team (PM&R, PT / OT, psychology, social work, and more)Utilize cutting‑edge EMR systemsEngage in teaching, research, and professional developmentPreferred Qualifications
