Middle School Teachers - Research Study Participant

Sepal is conducting a research study to understand work excellence among middle school teachers, except special and career / technical education to establish professional benchmarks. Selected participants will share their professional background, design field-specific screening questions, and document substantial work projects as case studies.

Timeline : Now through December 29th

Commitment : 40100 total hours

Begins with a paid 24 day work trial

Fully remote and flexible schedule

Sample of reported job titles : Art Teacher, English Teacher, Language Arts Teacher (LA Teacher), Math Teacher (Mathematics Teacher), Middle School Teacher, Music Teacher, PE Teacher (Physical Education Teacher), Science Teacher, Social Studies Teacher, Teacher

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :

5+ years full-time experience as a middle school teacher (except special and career / technical education)

Native-level English language fluency

U.S. residency

Access to a laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet

Available for at least 10 hours per week during the 2-3 week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule)

Technology proficiency : Comfortable with messaging, video calling, and uploading files

Ability to follow detailed written instructions and complete online tasks independently

This is a short-term project requiring roughly 40100 hours of work total, between now and December 29th. The engagement begins with a paid 24 day trial.

COMPENSATION AND LOGISTICS :

Hourly pay : $35-52 per hour, plus task bonuses, based on experience and fit

Paid bi-weekly based on tracked and approved hours

Classification as 1099 independent-contractor; engagement is at-will

Entirely remote, work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met

Current employment in the field is NOT required
