About the Role
The Company is seeking a Business Development Executive for Global Training Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth strategies in domestic and international defense, aerospace, and commercial training markets. This role involves identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value contracts with various defense and commercial entities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in managing large-scale defense training business development efforts, with a strong focus on the U.S. Department of Defense and international ministries of defense. Key responsibilities include developing long-range strategic vision, establishing and nurturing business relationships, and leading the execution of campaign plans. The role also requires the ability to interact with senior executives, provide strategic focus and direction, and ensure the company's position as a leader in the training and support market. Candidates for this position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A background in emerging defense technologies and global market development experience in specific regions is a plus. The role demands a leader with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, as well as a proven track record in managing large-scale, complex teams and bids. The Business Development Executive will be expected to have a deep understanding of government contracting, FAR / DFARS, and the ability to travel as required.
