Founded in 1968 to meet the post-secondary and continuing education needs of Cecil County residents Cecil College has been serving the community and shaping its future for more than 50 years. The College is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the governor. The Colleges fifth president Dr. Mary Way Bolt reports directly to the Board of Trustees.
Cecil College is centrally located in Marylands most northeastern county just one half mile from Interstate 95. It is easily accessible from Philadelphia and Baltimore as well as from Wilmington Delaware.
With a diverse student population Cecil College enrolls approximately 2500 credit students and 3400 non-credit students. Cecil offers associate degrees certificate programs and non-credit classes. Cecil offers a variety of associate degree and certificate programs.

JOB SUMMARY :
Faculty will be responsible for teaching a combination of Interpersonal Communications and Public Speaking courses. Students may include enrollees in the Colleges Early College Academy. This teaching position also involves the coordination planning preparation presentation and assessment of classroom instruction and related activities. Classes are offered in several modalities but are primarily in person.
This position is available for Fall 2026 but remains open until filled. For best consideration apply by January 30 2026.
This is an onsite position located in North East MD.

10 month faculty salary is dependent on placement according to the Full-time Faculty Rank and Promotion policy. The starting salary for each level is : Assistant Professor I $53789.10; Assistant Professor II $56478.50; Associate Professor I $59360; Associate Professor II $64756.4; Professor I $66604; Professor II $71727.
