Installer (Glazier)

Installer (Doors & Windows) - Paramount, CA

Salary : $26-$28 / hr & Full Benefits

Monday through Friday with Local Travel

Job Responsibilities :

• Read and understand shop-drawings and written specifications
• Receive, distribute, assemble and install windows and doors
• Maintain and repair windows and doors of previous projects, including onsite diagnosis and in-field problem-solving
• Use job specific tools for the window assembly, installation, maintenance and repair
• Maintain a safe and orderly job site including company equipment and transportation
• Clean up at the end of each work day
• Work efficiently with other installation team members
• Accurately clock in and out for jobs and breaks
• Maintain a positive, professional and motivated attitude even while under pressure
• Address and report any deficiencies related to rough openings, waterproofing and materials received
• Climb ladders
• Utilize lifting devices as necessary
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Follow installation manual and instructions from Team Leader and Supervisor
• Requirements :
• Proven record of successfully installed windows and doors or curtain walls
• Ability to correctly measure rough openings
• Ability to inspect waterproofing (provided by others) and to accept openings to perform installation
• Ability to travel within California and out of state on a regular basis for longer periods
• Minimum 10-hour OSHA certification
• Forklift certificate is a plus
• Clean driving record
• CA state driver license
• Being bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)
• Close to production facility in Paramount, CA
