As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the clinical and operational activities of the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care during your shift.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct and oversee staff roles within the unit.Coordinate patient placements based on acuity and staff availability.Identify and address educational needs within the unit.Lead patient care conferences to discuss patient discharge needs.Ensure effective communication during rounds with physicians.Monitor patient condition changes and make informed clinical decisions.Ensure orders are appropriate and executed timely.Job Requirements :
Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license (Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days).BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.Preferred : 2 years of acute care RN experience.NIH Stroke Scale certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.Bachelor's degree or equivalent nursing diploma required.ACLS certification or instructor certification required within 6 months.PALS certification or instructor certification required within 6 months.Neonate Resuscitation certification required within 30 days of hire.HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is a 404-bed tertiary care facility providing diverse services, including emergency and trauma care, and is affiliated with UCF College of Medicine. Our hospital is located conveniently in Kissimmee, central to the surrounding communities.
