Job Description
The Marketing Associate will help support the Pistola and Daze Denim e-commerce teams working across both acquisition and retention marketing areas including but not limited to Paid Media (Google and META), Affiliates, email & SMS and website optimization. You will be responsible for helping to execute a best-in-class consumer experience across these marketing programs.
The Marketing Associate has a learner mindset and is excited to dive in and take on new projects across multiple marketing functions.
This position reports to the Head of Ecommerce.
This position is in Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day functions of the marketing team across all paid media including Google, META, Affiliates as well as retention marketing efforts including email, SMS and website management and optimization.
- Support weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting requests for overall marketing performance.
- Acting as a liaison between the creative team, marketing team and external partners.
- Traffic creative assets to various marketing and business partners.
- Monitor channel KPIs regularly to understand effectiveness of strategies.
- Develop and maintain a regular communication cadence with all levels of the organization.
- Upload images and copy for all email + sms campaigns into klaviyo for both brands (about 10 campaigns weekly).
- Assist with uploading the homepage and merchandising banners onto the new theme.
- Create and merch the UTM links for each campaign.
- Assist with creating the framework for the Pistola and Daze seasonal content decks.
- Assist with creating the creative brief layouts for each campaign, by adding the dates, title and reference template based on the marketing calendar and workshop deck.
- Assist with formatting the Pistola and Daze marketing calendar with the monthly dates.
- Assist with email, website and ad QA.
- Update reporting for weekly DTC meetings and other reports as needed.
- Assist with affiliate management including approving new publishers, setting up new text links, banners, etc.
- Pull GA reports on an as needed basis.
Requirements
2+ years of marketing experience preferably in a direct-to-consumer organization with a strong online / ecommerce / digital presence.Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo is a plus.Learner mindset with inherently curious mindResults-oriented self-starter with a track record of excellent results in a fast-growth environment.Creative / innovative thinker; organized / detail-oriented; team player / solution-oriented approach.Forward thinking, marketing / business development-focused individual.Strong analytical skills, proven ability to consume and understand data.Exceptional skill in verbal and written communications; must also be an excellent listenerSkilled at promoting collaboration and driving problem resolutionBachelor's Degree required
