Posting Name : Mechanical Designer II

Schedule : M – T, 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM and Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 10 : 00 AM

Our Mechanical Designers are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis.  Some of your daily functions will include :

• Develop SolidWorks 3D models and associated 2D drawings for existing and new products.
• Meets daily with design team to identify and escalate roadblocks to remove barriers.
• Creator of Engineering Change Notifications to formally define design data.
• Initiates Engineering Change Requests when improvements, modifications, or errors are identified in released designs.
• Create drawings to assist manufacturing with tools, jigs, fixtures.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and recommend solutions.
• Ability to select vendor hardware / parts that are compatible with systems and customer requirements.
• Organize and maintain drawing file configurations and storage.

If you have at least 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Designer, possess a High School Diploma or GED and fundamental knowledge in marine or manufacturing industry, we want to talk to you!
