Accounting Manager

We are seeking a wine-industry accounting professional with progressive track record to step into the position of Accounting Manager for a Sonoma County based winery. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of winery accounting and the ability to maintain financial integrity of the GL, inventory / COGS and produce timely financial reports. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for maintaining accounting processes and support strategic planning initiatives, so a strong understanding of systems and ability to work cross functionally is critical for the success of this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions for the winery and affiliated entities.
• Perform account & GL reconciliations, book accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Manage month end close process, prepare and review financial statements for accuracy
• Conduct detailed analysis of accounts to identify variances, trends, and key indicators
• Collaborate with departments & leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial data and build custom reports as needed to support forward planning initiatives.

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.

Minimum 5+ years accounting experience in a winery environment

Ability to work full-time in office daily.

Salary : 120,000-130,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
