Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a top Healthcare client.
This core position is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the broader care team. The RN will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, acting as a vital patient advocate to ensure exceptional patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess the patient's condition upon admission and throughout each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the medical provider(s), ensuring timely execution and proper documentation.
- Administer prescribed medications safely, monitor the patient for therapeutic and unintended responses, and take appropriate action as necessary.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures, translating complex medical terminology clearly.
- Act as a dedicated advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, consistently embodying the organization's vision and mission for outstanding care.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipating patient needs to ensure comfort and support.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all care administration and patient information in the electronic medical record.
Requirements
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required.Experience
Relevant clinical experience will be considered, including candidates from Long-Term Acute Care (LTACH), Home Health, and Rehabilitation settings.Certifications / Licenses
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state is required.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment start date.Skills
