Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An experienced Circulating Registered Nurse (RN) is sought to provide exceptional peri-operative care in a dynamic surgical environment in Douglas, AK. This contract position focuses on facilitating patient care across a variety of age groups including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients within the operating room. The role demands strong coordination with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and surgical technicians to ensure seamless delivery of care and adherence to professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the peri-operative setting.
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, pre- and post-operative nurses.
• Maintain accurate computerized documentation using Meditech and other electronic charting systems.
• Serve as a resource by potentially training other nursing staff.
• Participate in on-call night shifts and work varied schedules including weekdays and 12-hour shifts.
