You'll thrive in this role if you have :
- Massachusetts EEC Infant / Toddler Teacher Certification (Required)
- Experience working with infants (6 weeks to 15 months) in a licensed early childhood program or child care center
- A warm, responsive caregiving style and understanding of infant development
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire)
Some requirements of the role include :
Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of the school, including opening and closing shiftsAbility to spend extended periods of time on the floor with the childrenAbility to lift up to 50lbsAbility to stand up to 90% of the workdayAttentiveness, strong time management, and a team-focused mindsetAs an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for :
Provide individualized, nurturing care to infants in a licensed child care settingSupport early developmental milestones through tummy time, sensory play, cuddles, and structured routinesEnsure a safe and clean classroom environment by following best practices for diapering, feeding, and safe sleepBuild trusting relationships with families by maintaining open and ongoing communication about each child's growthWhat Magical Beginnings Offers You :
