    Job Description

    We Provide Solutions. Patients and Physicians rely on our diagnostic testing, information and services to help them make better healthcare decisions. These are often serious decisions with far reaching consequences, and require sensitivity, tact and a clear dedication to service. It’s about providing clarity and hope.

    The Sales Director is a front‑line sales leader responsible for execution of the commercial sales strategy for profitable growth in geographic area for general and specialized laboratory sales and service representatives.

    This is a field‑based sales leadership position requiring daily travel throughout the Hudson Valley region between Nyack and Albany.

    Pay Range : $129,700 – $211,500 / annually

    Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

  • Responsibilities

  • Hire and retain an effective sales team of Account Executives and Account Managers
  • Coach, motivate and develop sales talent
  • Establish regional action plans and market strategies
  • Set metrics and accountability standards to drive performance toward goals
  • Manage and measure sales force performance and provide feedback to reps
  • Conduct district analytics and market intelligence
  • Marshal and manage resources to solve problems and achieve plans
  • Support key account development
  • Provide input to regional marketing efforts

  • Knows the healthcare industry (payors / providers) and general economics of business

  • Solid PC skills including Outlook, Excel, Salesforce.com, SAVO
  • Education

    Bachelor’s degree (Required)

    You’re eligible to join the Quest Diagnostics 401(k) Plan on your date of hire. The company will match up to 5% of your annual salary.

    Virtual work options

    Quest Virtual Model allows eligible Quest employees to work either a hybrid schedule (two to three days from home per workweek), a near‑site schedule (primarily from home with occasional work in a Quest office), or fully remote. Decisions are made on a case‑by‑case basis with the employee’s manager and HR Business Partner.

    Uncapped incentive paid out quarterly.
